Heavy rains destroy temple, flood homes in Cambodia

Torrential rains in Cambodia have destroyed an ancient Hindu temple, forced thousands of people from their homes and left major highways impassable, government officials said on Wednesday.
Battered by storms, the sixth-century pre-Angkorian brick shrine at Sambor Preykuk, in the northern province of Kampong Thom, collapsed on Tuesday, said the deputy minister of culture.
